(7/22) The B division of the Spring
Rotational doubles finished up the season on Monday. Craig McDonald and Frank Vaughan prevailed over Paul Bohn
and Steve Mack 1-6, 6-3, 7-5, but the single set that Paul and Steve won
prevented Craig from moving into a tie for the lead. Dane Alder's lead held up at 12 points as he took the B
division championship for the Spring session. Andy Calloway and Dale Wilson tied for third place with 9
points.
(7/15) In the B division, Dane Alder staked his claim for the division win with a 6-3, 6-2 win along with partner Andy Calloway over Paul Gush and Dale Wilson. Only Craig McDonald can catch him but needs to pick up three points in next weeks match to do so. In the other B league match this week, Jerry Tydlacka subbed for Charlie Blackburn and along with partner, Rich Haywood, defeated Vic Ilenda and Frank Vaughan 6-3, 6-3.
